Look What I Won from Spooky Time Jingles!

Is this the cutest thing you have ever seen?

I have to say that I was just delighted when I learned that I had won.

Spooky Time Jingles is FABULOUS and you never know what you might find!

Suz Davis from sUrpRise deLiGht jOy made this. Find her on etsy at http://www.surprisedelightjoy.etsy.com/ or on her blog at http://www.surprisedelightjoy.blogspot.com/

Not only is the brooch itself just darling and very well made, but it came beautifully packaged. It is evident that care and diligence went into each aspect of this lovely gift. Such generosity and talent!

She is the total package.

If you have a chance, go check out Spooky Time Jingles on the 13th. You'll like what you see! www.SpookyTimeJingles.com

Or pop by their blog and become a follower! http://spookytimejingles.blogspot.com/.

Now I must run! I have to catch up on a TON of blog reading! I have been so busy this week that I have missed what has been happening in blogland.

Until next time, enjoy life's generosity!

YOU know what happens..

...when bunnies are left alone...

they make MORE bunnies!
I wouldn't normally use a non-traditional color to make a bunny, but I just had the feeling that someone out there would want this. I wonder who?

This is my husband's favorite one. He has a very realistic "rabbit" sort of look to him.

I liked the combination of wools on this one. He has a bit of Dorset and some Merino.

Very different texures working together.

Thanks for popping in!

Until next time, watch those bunnies!

Off I go to make some bunnies and to plan out a darling little guinea pig. Can't wait!

Happy day to all! Hope Spring has sprung in your neck of the woods!

Until next time, happy "caffeinating."

Better Than Santa...

..because he flies under his own power! No reindeer needed!

I mean, really! How did you think he managed to get all of those chocolate eggs delivered?

OOAK Easter bunny, needle felted by me. I used a fawn colored Dorset wool, embroidery floss, and some glass beads on this one.

He will be for sale tomorrow on my etsy site, http://www.sycamoremoonstudios.etsy.com/

Hope everyone is starting to see some signs of Spring!

Until next time, happy hopping! Or flying. Whichever applies best to your particular situation.

Egg thief?

Nope! Just the Easter bunny.

I am working on a larger one for a fundraiser.

It might have to be brown, though, as I am out of white wool! Yikes!

On a personal note, I feel like I am losing my mind a bit. I can't recall a time when I have had so many balls in the air at once.

That is a partial explanation for my sporadic posts and my even more sporadic comments on everyone ELSE'S posts.

I still read everyone's...I just don't always have time to comment.

Can't wait for it to slow down in about 3 weeks. Whew!

Until next time, happy busy-ness!

Not Dust Bunnies..

...though this one could probably pass for one, given his color!
Rather, these are the bunnies I made while studiously IGNORING the dust bunnies that are developing around my house.
I have caught a bit of flack from a few friends about their price- they feel I am selling them too cheaply.

I disagree. I try to keep my prices reasonable. These are less expensive than my other similar pieces because they don't have an armature, are more loosely felted, and don't have feet.

They were made to appear as though they are sitting on their tootsies.

Materials weren't horribly expensive because they are only 2-3 inches long.

Integrity is important to me. Fairness counts.

Until next time, happy dust bunnies!

Paperclay Progress

First there was..

..then there was...

...and now we have...
two happy faces!

Almost done!

I have been suffering from the mommy dilemma.

Too much "real life" to do and too little time to create.

Luckily, I do enough creating in my head so that when it comes to actually getting time to make it happen, it happens fairly quickly.

Thanks for popping in!

Until next time, happy progress!
