(Well, maybe not forever, but at least two years. Long enough, I'd say!)
Today was one of those, "Oh what the heck, just go for it" kind of days. The angel doll above, Florence, was a response to a mini challenge by ADO. I have been wanting to do paperclay over cloth for a long while, yet never seemed to get around to it. Needle felting, polymer, paperclay over my regular-type armatures always seemed to take precedence.
Well, I liked making ONE doll with paperclay over cloth, so I naturally figured TWO dolls would be twice as nice.
I am happy to say that I was right! Not only did I do another cloth/paperclay gal, but I also took it one step further and tried a new finishing technique. Since it isn't perfected yet, I won't share the details (I don't want to lead anyone down the wrong path! Pah!)
Time will tell.
